The Order of the Eastern Star is the largest fraternal organization in the world to which both women and men may belong. Worldwide, there are over 500,000 members under the General Grand Chapter.
Eastern Star is a social order comprised of persons with spiritual values, but it is not a religion. What is the Louisiana Lodge of Research? Well, it’s really you. It is your lodge and the lodge of every Louisiana Freemason. It exists to celebrate, study, learn about, and research all aspects of Louisiana Freemasonry.
Membership in the LLR is open to all Master Masons under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Louisiana or those jurisdictions in fraternal relations with the Grand Lodge of Louisiana. Shriners International is a fraternity based on fun, fellowship, and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth with nearly 200 temples (chapters) in seven countries and thousands of clubs around the world. Our fraternity is open to men of integrity from all walks of life.
