Grand Master Jay McCallum would like to bring to your attention this scam and ensure all the Brethren donations will never be requested in this manner and proper grammar will always be used in his communications.

Should you receive any emails of this manner please disregard and do not reply or engage with the sender.

Grand Lodge Staff

There is a spam email claiming to be from either the Grand Secretary or the Grand Master seeking donations to “assist Covid-19 affected Veterans”. See Below.
Though he is confident no one has fallen for it, out of an abundance of caution, Grand Master Terry Fowler would like to bring this to your attention. If you received a similar email, please disregard it and do not engage with the sender.

Mask Mandate Lifted

Governor John Bel Edwards did not extend the mask mandate beyond October 26th, except in certain circumstances involving public schools.
Therefore, I am canceling all previously issued Directives. Lodges may hold Stated and Special Communications, including all meetings involving public attendance without restrictions.
I encourage Worshipful Masters and Lodge members to use common sense, with the health of our brothers and families in mind when gathering.
